THE STUDIO
Founded by Nico Rallo, NRD is a New York City design studio specializing in residential interiors, including apartment renovations, brownstone restorations, and townhouse projects. Drawing on a background in architecture and interior design, the studio approaches each project with a strong understanding of proportion, detail, and the relationship between architecture and everyday life.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We believe a home should evolve with the people who live in it. Each space is considered as part of a larger whole, balancing comfort and function with enduring quality, thoughtful craftsmanship, and a sense of individuality. The result is a home that feels collected, intentional, and deeply personal.
WORKING TOGETHER
Our process begins with understanding how you live, what you are drawn to, and what you want your home to become. From there, we guide you through decisions around layout, millwork, lighting, finishes, and furnishings—editing choices, coordinating details, and maintaining a clear vision from the earliest ideas through completion. The process is collaborative and considered, with each decision bringing the home closer to feeling entirely your own.
